Game
The area is owned by Mr. Riaan Bredenkamp and SMJ Safaris hires the hunting rights
from him to operate on the area. SMJ Safaris has been hunting on the area for the last
six seasons with great success.The area has 7 different species. The species that are available to the hunter would be Leopard, Mountain Zebra, Kudu, Oryx, Springbok, Klipspringer, Steenbok.

Area
This area itself consist out of 50 000 acres which is unfenced open African semi
dessert area. The area is very mountainous and makes it great hunting. Most of the
hunting in this area is done by going up to a high look out and then sitting down
scanning the area for game in the surroundings. After spotting the animal that you are
after you have to work your way trough the rocks and boulders to your quarry to see if
you are lucky enough to get in range for a shot.

Trophy sizes
This area is well known for it's Mountain zebra .These western mountain ranges in
Namibia is the only place in the world where you can hunt the Hartman's Mountain Zebra
in it's free range status.The hunting on these animals is something that any hunter
should experience. We also have very good Kudu, Oryx and Klipspringer in the area,
the springbok of this area come and go out of the Namib Naukluft Park and has really
good trophy sizes.

Accommodation
The owner of the area Riaan Bredenkamp has build a beautiful stone house out of the
rocks from the surroundings.It has a old western ranch house style with three
on-suite rooms that offer's the guest's very comfortable accommodation with everything
that you need. It also has a swimming pool that it situated next to the main
accommodation so you can cool down after the hunt. It has a small lapa with fire place
for those wonderful African  evenings around the fire with the stories about the
happenings of the day.  

Activities in Area
The area has some of the best 4x4 tracks going in and out of the numerous valley's
and mountains that there is.The sight-seeing trips in the area is a must for any visitor.
We also do trips to sossosvlei which is about two hours from area where you can see the highest dunes in the world ,it is some of the most beautiful areas that the Namib
desert can offer with it's red sand dunes and wildlife.
