Big five hunting Location: Nyae-Nyae Concession SMJ Safaris offer Big five hunting in Namibia as well as in several parts of southern Africa. We can offer you everything from a full trophy hunt to culling animals. Most of the hunt is carried out by walk and stalk but we also use bait when hunting for Leopard. A big five hunt with us is one of the most exciting hunts you will ever do and it is important you are in good condition. Area The area is approximately one million hectares big consisting out on mostly flat open savannah veld. living permanently in the area. but what is most important is that it is the biggest The Southern and eastern boundaries is two other hunting areas in Bushman land and Herero land respectively. an average of over 75 pounds for some season. There is Elephant, Leopard, Roan, Eland, Kudu, Bluewildebeest, Duiker & Steenbok on quota. The camp is situated amongst the magnificent Baobab three’s that the area has with a water hole which the elephant and other game visit right next to camp. The accommodation consist out of three traditional east African safari tents with en-suite bathrooms. The dining area and lounge is situated around on of these giant trees of the past and the camp does give you the true feeling of days gone by, with everything you would need on safari. Hunting The area mainly consist out of flat sandy area so it would be flat walking , but due to the nature of the area clients coming on elephant hunts in this area should be prepared to walk.
